OK, I’ve decided to create this blog category for some of my insane ramblings which I’ll occasionally produce but I’ll have no normal drawer to file them.
Here I am, in my old town Pozega — a small town in Croatia. I’m visiting my family for the holidays. And I’m kind of glad to be here (not just cause of my family). I haven’t been here for some time now. Not much has changed but it’s different nevertheless.
I tried to catch some of my old friends, but as I expected they now have lives which aren’t in sync with mine. Nothing strange — yet a man feels uneasy. It leaves a strange feeling of emptiness.
On the other hand I also have changed and have new friends. And I can’t really say I’m sorry for not being so close with my old friends. The thing that shocked me the most was the fact that a few of us after not seeing each other for a couple of years had nothing to talk about over a cup of coffee. And we grew up together. Really strange.
It would be nice to get some comments if you had similar experiences in your life.

Tell me about it, this is a typical story of life, living and growing up. You have the special bond with the place and people you grew up with but after many years (especially when you move away for a wile and return) the place is just not the same any more, even if all the people you grew up with are still there, even if they do not change you would have changed.
I move from East London about 4 years ago to Midlands, for the first few months, when I go back to East London, it feels as if I have not been away at all, 4 years on, when I visit East London, its look very very familiar but it has lost it old magic, it also does not fell like home any more like it used to feel for the first 2 years after I moved away.
Its a case of the familiar stranger, anyway milky, add a picture of your town to this post if possible
