The ship is the Russian Diana class protected cruiser "Avrora", built in the 1890's. http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/ships/ru/ca/avrora/700-com/avrora.htm (I wonder how/why it wasn't scrapped during WW1 or WW2?)
