Error erros and more errors :)

Those who contacted me to report errors, thanks very much, we correct all reported errors as quickly as possible.

If you detect any new errors please do not let me know immediately.

Some people my find they are not able to login.......... you have not been banned or anything like that, just that the conversion to VB causing the problem

That I can explain -- kind of.
The database server (which contains the thumbs and pics) has a fixed latency setting. Therefor is your connection is a little slow, it stops loading the thumbs to speed up the loading of the complete page. So sometimes you can't see all of the thumbs.

a LOT. A WHOLE lot. Usually I have to close the window and log back in in order to get back into the Ozami site. It's getting annoying.

What do you think is causing the error Natchi is experiencing, whatever it is if you cannot fix it, just ask Ovi to fix it.

I already notified him this morning. I think I know what could be the problem but I can't fix it, it's on the server side of the site. So I PMd him about what I think it could be.

Kind of funny, this. You'll go into a thread and not all the thumbs will load. With some trial and error, you realize you can get more thumbs to load by re-entering the thread, but that is when the forbidden 404s start poping up. A nice little catch 22.

I also noticed that if I delete the temp internet files, after encountering the 404 error, I can reload the page without error. then, after several other page views, I start getting the 404's again.... not sure if the 404's are related to the temp files or not, but seems they might be

I think the problem seem to be a mixture of errors encountered on Ozami and you internet cache playing a bit of trick by serving the cached error pages :(

That would explain a lot of the symptoms.
