Okay Guys and Dolls,

I am being offered a new job. Kicker is, it's in Northamptonshire England - - a long long way from Mississippi.

Should I leave the old homestead and travel the world again - - -

Or should I stay put.

Yeah, I value your opinion(s) so let me have 'em

I would say the weather is the greatest factor to consider - England is ok but the weather sucks, The living cost is also far more expensive than in the states - So, consider how much money you could be earning but bear in mind that it is going to cost you at least 50% more to live in the uk than in the states.

The nice thing about living in the uk is the fact that europe is right there and you can travel on easyjet for next to nothing on weekend breaks - Visit Joyvy, teabags etc for just 29 pounds one way on a weekend break

Just my two cents.

I'm completely biased, Max, but you already know this. I'm from Mississippi originally, and since I currently live in the Sixth Borough of New York (aka South Florida), I'm living vicariously through your eyes. I love my homestate. And one more thing, if you laugh too much at rednecks, you'll soon be looking up at the rednecks who just punched you in the face. Of course, apologize and they'll buy you a beer.
