Sex AND Politics!
I'm surprised there's no already a 10 page thread on New York's Governor Spitzer getting caught as "Client #9" of a super expensive prostitution outfit.
I was surprised that the mouthpiece of the DNC, also known as The New York Times, bothered to print anything about it.
Since the Gov. didn't immediately resign, the leftist press is already beginning to close ranks and publish articles in support of him. Were he a Republican, the press would be 100% the other way, with front page articles every day demanding his resignation.
How do we know that? Just look at the very recent past and what the media did to Senator Craig, from Idaho. At one time he stood 5th in line to take over the Presidency should bad things happen to the Pres. the VP and whomever the next two in line are. Now some study by some think tank (which apparently exists soley to give their opinions on the relative power of politicians) ranks him just above dead last in influence in DC, with only the non-voting representatives fron the US territories and posessions ranked lower.
Were Spitzer a Republican, the media would be in a frothing fit rather than laying the ground work for a Clinton style "It was only sex." whitewash.
