Jericho... you MUST see this show

Sure, there are only three episodes left starting this Tuesday March 11, 2008 at 10:00 pm EST. Sure, CBS has done everything but tell us that the show is going to be cancelled after those three episodes as an "F you!" to the fans who got the show back on the air by flooding CBS's offices with tons of nuts in protest.

But, seriously, go to CBS's webpage, catch up on the 4 episodes you've missed this season (there's a good "previously on Jericho" at the beginning of the first episode for this season), or watch last season as well... But you MUST watch this show! It's just an outstanding premise (small town in Kansas dealing with trying to return to normal after nuclear weapons go off in multiple cities in the US) and a pretty good cast.

Please, watch the last three episodes. I don't want to be the only one on ozami who wants to talk about this and bitch that CBS cancelled the show.

Well, "Jericho" ended it's run last night. It was a rushed hour-long episode that truly should have been a two-hour episode. But the stuff that was cut out wasn't absolutely essential and the editors did a fantastic job.

The big rumor is that CBS is doing with "Jericho" exactly what NBC is doing with "Friday Night Lights", i.e. shopping it around to various cable networks to see if they want to take it over. Personally, I think "Jericho" is tailor-made for Sci-Fi. The cable channel has already shown the first season and I hear got pretty good ratings with it. The show is somewhat post-apocolyptic; it's got a huge grassroots following, and could be a centerpiece in a fall lineup for Sci-Fi.

Here's hoping that CBS and Sci-Fi do the right thing and get a deal done in time to start shooting for next season, because the way the show ended set up perfectly for a dynamite third season.

I'm intrigue, so far the reviews has been nice, i usually don't stick to a show that I didn't start watching the first few pilot episodes, this might be worthy of a DVD after all
