After a long and somewhat over long wait 4G Network is at last going to go live in UK – United Kingdom in October 2012. The first service vendor will be the super combo ‘Everything Everywhere’ the giant operator created by the merger of Orange and T-Mobile in 2010.

But the question remains to be seen how good the data transmission speed will hold up as in the US the 4G network has been subjected to a spate of data speed issues. In GB – Great Britain the service provider ‘Everything Everywhere’ will be targeting to deliver downloads at about 10 times the speed of current 3G networks. But will they be able to maintain the high speeds as millions sign on for the new 4G network.

In the years ahead the data transmission speeds will reach a lightning fast downloads to 300 megabits per second, which is three times faster than any service available in the UK today.

38 Years old Anton Vickerman former Internet pirate jailed for four years for owning TV and film download site SurfTheChannel.Com. In a short two year lifespan the site realized revenue of more than £2 million pounds netting the owner a handsome £60,000 a month from downloads

When the site was at it’s peak SurfTheChannel was getting more traffic  when attracting 400,000 visitors a day at its peak to a then developing facebook.

But all the business was costing the the film industry tens of millions of pounds in lost revenue, and ultimately huge losses to the Inland Revenue

The judge on passing sentence on Anton Vickerman at Newcastle Crown Court – quote -  Found guilty on conspiracy to defraud sentenced to a four year jail term.

The case is one of the first successful prosecutions in the UK for Internet piracy now the courts have achieved a successful conviction we can expect to see similar cases coming to trial in the near future. Nokian launch the real Windos Smartphone

Nokia the giant mobile phone Juggernaut who recently lost grounds to smartphone such as iPhone and Android is making its fightback for market share of the smartphone with the launch of the smartphone it hope will help it claw back some lost grounds with the lauch of to Windows 7.5 powered device.

The two new phones called Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 are the flagship smartphone nokia is using to take on Apple’s iPhone and rivals using Google’s Android software.

Nokia’s boss, Stephen Elop, said the launch marked the “rebirth” of Nokia. The company will start shipping the Lumia 800 range almost immediately and and it will ship to other parts of Europe in November.

Nokia is also shipping four new phones that are said to be a cross between smartphone and basic phone. Mr Elop said the phones would blur the boundaries between feature phones and smart phones, bringing the Internet “to the next billion people”.

The phone that aimed to bridge regular phone and smartphone will have features such as touch screens, 5 mega pixel cameras, bright screens, 32GB storage for music and long battery life.
