As at Tuesday morning, July 31, 2012 the above does not make pretty reading does it! The failures as an avid sports fan I am not even going to go there and comment on what went wrong – but I am bitterly disappointed in  how GB athletes have fared to date in the 2012 London Olympic Games Medal Count.

Needless to say the brutal UK tabloid press had high expectations but don’t they just love it once the athletes lose! The GB athletes have it real tough the press hype them up to impossible heights that they will never conquer, then when they fail the tabloids slaughter them on the way down. BRUTAL nothing more nothing less, it does not look good. However the facts are hard to disregard so far in 2012 London Olympic Games the GB sports stars have under achieved by a country mile. So as much as the UK tabloid press relish and thrive on failure, what else could they do other than lambast the GB Olympic under achievers.

Fortunately still many days left at the 2012 London Olympic Games for GB athletes to come good and win a ‘Sack Full of Gold Medals’ but right now that looks like a big ask that will not be fulfilled. Hope 100% that we are wrong and the GB sports stars pull out all the stops to win GOLD!

These last two years and more it has been very difficult to keep up to speed with how Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will play on match day. Namely will he turn on the magic score maybe two goals and get the man of the match award! That happens sometimes but in other games he plays, but may as well have not turned up!

So what has gone wrong with the UK institution BBC TV they have made several broadcasting blunders in 2012. They have flunked some major events including but not limited to :-

• The Opening Ceremony for the 2012 London Olympic Games has been criticized with many saying BBC TV offered poor coverage
• Then BBC TV botched in embarrassing style the showcase spectacle of the opening day the Men’s Cycling Road Race. The irony is that the race was relayed in such a hotch potch manner that at many times it was unclear to viewers who was actually leading the race and the broadcasted race time gaps were often incorrect. BBC TV knew they had flunked the live TV coverage and at the end of the race they offered a public apology for the BBC Men’s Cycling Road Race coverage.
• The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration was another marquee event that showcased BBC TV as an inept calamitous broadcaster. This BBC TV event was a national disaster for the flagship TV channel!

So what has gone wrong with BBC TV, well they shipped out many of the elite broadcasters forcing them into premature retirement. This left BBC TV with no access to experienced staff with proven skill sets needed when recording major public events. How did people find out they switched on BBC TV and that was that – ‘Oh no turn off that rubbish’ was the cry – click – millions just switched off.

Come on BBC TV get your act together this is simply just not good enough, no excuses you are 100 percent funded by the beleaguered British tax paying public! Stop the rot and stop it now.

Exactly one year ago Luka Modric was unsettled at Tottenham Hotspur with the media buzz abounding  with chat that Modric was going here there and everywhere! We came across a guy who looked like David Beckham a walking ‘Clothes Horse’ trying to look fashionable wearing a flat cap yes you guessed right – Made in Poland!

Anyway we approached the David Beckham look alike and asked him – ‘Do you work for the Lord Coe Olympic team and/or are you with GS4 the security company’ The Flat Cap started spinning atop his brow as his eyes narrowed to make him appear just like a ferret looking through a lavatory brush! His reply in perfect Polish was – quote – zalujace JA nie rozumiem co *f**k* wy mówicie o – roughly translated into English – quote – ‘Sorry I do not understand what the f**k you are talking about!’

Umm if that or similar is in store with the Lord Coe Olympic team and/or GS4 Security Guards we will be in for some Olympic fun and games!

Who in the CPS – Crown Prosecution Service made the decision that the Police had a case and as such at vast public expense millions  of pounds were wasted in getting the racism trial to Westminster Magistrates Court

However John Terry is :-
•    A self confessed philanderer
•    An overpaid EPL footballer
•    An extremely bad example of a sports role model
•    A foul mouthed man who does not care – “it’s handbags innit – It is what we do innit” is how he defends his abusive behavior on the football pitch.
•    A London born and bred braggart
•    Plus a host more negative characteristics too many to list here…

But there are much deeper considerations when one looks to see how the CPS – Crown Prosecution Service and the Police perform their duties in the UK – United Kingdom like:-
•    The botched News Corp phone hacking scandal ongoing for years with a public cost soaring into hundreds of millions of pounds – for what can anyone explain.
•    The futile attempt to convict Harry Redknapp on tax evasion charges.
Those two examples are just scratching the surface there are hundreds all in all costing Joe Public more than a billion pounds in paid taxes. Unbelievable that such dereliction of duty prevails on so big a scale in the UK!

Some girlfriends are just so ungrateful this man saw an opportunity to soil the dopey book ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ by EL James. So what did he do he spilt the HP Brown Sauce bottle all over the book – super – one down – one to go! He looked at his girlfriend saw room to improve the look on her face so the rest of the HP Brown Sauce went all over her face.

Then what should have transpired they should have started copulating buried in fifty shades of brown. The girl was not up for that so she sold her story to the UK Tabloids. Now she has no boyfriend but she has enough cash to buy a wagon load of HP Brown Sauce.

Some UK girls are just so frumpy they may be into reading about fake imaginary BDSM but they are not up for some brown saucy fun!

As the world’s top professional  cycling  race the Tour de France 2012  moves into the real mountain stages a cloud of controversy seems to be hovering over Team Sky. In the race they are doing great, they have Bradley Wiggins leading in the GC and now in the coveted yellow jersey of race leader for 4 days. Then in the 3rd place on the GC they have Chris Froome so performance wise it would take a lot to be in a better position.

But Team Sky are handling the press abysmally and digging  a hole vis a vie the reputation of the team. Moreover they are rumblings of discontent in the peleton with leading rider Vincenzo Nibali coming out saying that Bradley Wiggins is showing no respect to Nibali on the road.

There is more to come as the press have questioned Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford about employing Dr. Geert Leinders on an 80 day contract. Brailsford gave this oblique reply – quote –  “I positively, 100% say there is no threat of anything untoward since he’s been with us. But there is reputation threat.” What a dopey reply Sky have spent millions on the team yet they do not employ a street wise PR spokesman.

Dr. Geert Leinders has some very negative  history in cycling including working with Rabobank when the team was caught up in a doping scandal. Then Dr. Geert Leinders was the doctor who took care of the disgraced serial doper Michael Rasmussen who is a lowlife with a name as tarnished as Floyd Landis in the sport of professional cycling.

This raises a big red flag where one could adorn the flag with lettering like – ‘Who is doping in Team Sky?’

How the hell did this case get to court surely someone has to be held responsible for allowing this disgraceful public charade where the protagonists are gaining publicity doing a stellar job in massaging inflated egos and encouraging thoroughly distasteful traits of hubris and outright bragging  – by two footballers that love to be portrayed as foul mouthed overpaid yobs who play football in the EPL

This trial is a shambolic spectacle with a litany of foul mouthed language and abuse that does nothing to help prevent racism, all that is being delivered to the public is a disgusting overview on how two mentally challenged footballers  swear – curse and shout abuse in public masquerading behind multi million pound salaries secure in the believe that the money they earn, gives them the divine right  to go to work ie on the football pitch  and spend the next 90 minutes swearing and abusing the opposing players on the team they are playing.

What good is the trial doing to prevent and reduce racism in the world – please tell me as I all I see is a conveyor belt delivering everything I do not wish to see on TV and in the Press, so called public role models behaving like oaths who do not have a care in the world about how they promote there being in such a grandiose and objectionable manner!

The Police are not blameless either they have a public duty to explain how this case ever got to trial.

Reports coming in say off duty policeman PC Ian Dibell was shot dead by a single bullet to the head fired from close range by suspected killer Peter Reeve. The incident is said to have unfolded when a couple were seen to be arguing in Clacton when PC Ian Dibell stepped in to stop the argument and in the ensuing melee was summarily shot dead by a bullet to the head. Further details are limited but the police have no doubts on who the killer is namely Peter Reeve.

The Police have released this statement – quote –

Police were called at about 15:30 BST on Monday after gunfire was heard near Redbridge Road in Clacton-on-Sea.

The chief constable said: “Policing is a family and we are all hurting.

“This dreadful event reminds us all that policing is a mission that ultimately some die for.

“We will not rest until his killer is found.”

Mr Reeve, who is believed to be armed, is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall with short, greyish hair, wearing jeans and possibly glasses. He comes from the Clacton area.

Now here is the sizzle surrounding the Iceland Helicopter Ride out of over 7 billion people in the world just over five thousand – 5,000 wanted to see Tom Cruise sat in a helicopter in Iceland! The popularity of this guy just has no boundaries.

We live in strange times Tom Cruise had the nous to see the helicopter ride coming, but lacked the common sense to realize that only days before his forage into Iceland his soon to be ex wife Katie Holmes was getting  a lawyer to serve divorce papers in NYC so she could get rid of the ‘Control Freak’ Tom Cruise!

We are puzzled by all these latest shenanigans and feel that the public should been better served with news about Tom Cruise and offer some viable explanation why fellow scientologist John Travolta was not also sat in the helicopter in Iceland! Or was he and the paparazzi  missed him as his face was in propinquity to the midriff of the helicopter pilot as pellucidly it appears there may have been an agenda to add more spice to the story in getting an exclusive to ‘out’ the helicopter pilot! It has been reported somewhere that lawyers representing John Travolta say any such presentations that Mr Travolta has been anywhere near Iceland recently are all  ‘Malicious Gossip’ another unnamed resource say that the legal denial came from a team of legal eagles who are reputed to represent John Travolta – a freelance stringer said on record that the self same firm of lawyers had an office in a tower block downtown NYC named Gay Towers!
